The Special Adviser to Rivers State Gov. Nyesom Wike on Lands and Survey, Dr Anugbum Onuoha, who was abducted by unknown gunmen has been released.
Onuoha was abducted in a hotel on Ada George road in Port Harcourt on Friday, January 18, by armed men dressed in military fatigue.
He was released Friday night.

A close friend of the family and the Zonal Coordinator of Noble Knights of the Niger Delta North, of the Anglican Communion, Wobo Kingsley, confirmed that “Onuoha has regained freedom and hale and hearty and reunited with his family.”
He however did not give further details as to whether ransom was paid and how much.
