Jon Bon Jovi has slammed modern celebrity culture and reality TV stars in a brutal interview, describing their popularity as cheap.

The 56-year-old rocker, who has sold over 130 million albums worldwide, unleashed on Kim Kardashian and Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise while speaking to Lisa Wilkinson on The Sunday Project, according to Daily Mail.

‘I think it’s horrific that we live in that world and I can tell you I’ve never given 60 seconds of my life, EVER, to one of those Housewives of Blah Blah and Kardashians,’ he ranted.

“ I don’t know their names, I’ve never watched 60 seconds of the show, it’s not for me,” he said.

The Livin’ On a Prayer legend then brought up Kim Kardashian’s infamous 2007 sex tape with R&B singer Ray J. “What’s gonna be in your autobiography? “I made a porno and guess what I got famous.” F**k, sorry, I’ll pass,” he sniped.

The rocker continued his rant, next taking aim at the lack of talent in many of today’s top stars. “Go and write a book, paint a painting, act, study, sing, play write,” he continued.

“Fame is a byproduct of writing a good song,” he added.
While Jon Bon Jovi may not be aware of it, Kim has showcased her many talents in various areas of the entertainment industry.

Outside of reality TV, the 38-year-old has released a dance-pop song called Jam (Turn It Up), starred in films like Disaster Movie and Tyler Perry’s Temptation, and even released a bestselling book of her most famous selfies.

The brunette has even become a successful tech entrepreneur thanks to her emoji app Kimoji and popular mobile role-playing game Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.

Despite his disdain for reality television, Jon actually attempted to launch his own reality show back in 2015 called If I Wasn’t a Rock Star.
The series, which appeared to be inspired by Paris Hilton’s The Simple Life, was supposed to follow famous rock stars as they returned to their hometowns to lead normal lives without their minders.

Unfortunately, the show never quite got off the ground and now appears to have been scrapped.
