Ahead of its primaries for different positions, the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Thursday resolved to use the indirect system.
The party took the decision at its 6th national executive committee (NEC) meeting held in Abuja.
Only the presidential primary will be exempted.

With the indirect system, the party’s candidates for the different posts will be chosen by delegates.
However, direct system may be used in states.
The Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, said the choice of direct system would be adopted in states only when necessary.
