Wife of the Benue State Governor, Mrs Eunice Ortom, has charged parents to avail their children ages 0- 5 years for immunization.
Mrs Ortom stated this during the flag off of the 2021 Immunization ceremony in Gboko Local Government Area, to mark the 2021 Maternal, New Born and Child Health Week.

Mrs Ortom who emphasized the importance of immunization to the growth and total well-being of the child said parents should make sure their children/wards who are eligible for the phase of immunization are not left out.
She encouraged nursing mothers and pregnant women to come out enmasse to collect the free treated Mosquito Nets and use same properly to protect themselves from Mosquito bites and malaria in the long run.
