Miss Oyo 2020: Alaafin’s Daughter Emerges Winner

Princess Adedoja Adeyemi, daughter of Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi 111, has won the 2020 Miss Oyo Beauty Pageant.

The 23 years old graduate of History & International studies, Osun State University, defeated her co- contestants from other federal constituencies of Oyo to take home the grand price, a Toyota Camry Car courtesy of Dotun Sanusi, Chairman Ilaji Sports Resort, and other prices.

Princess Adeyemi is currently studying for her Masters in African Studies at the University of Lagos.

She is also the CEO of Dorjafrica Heritage, a cultural blog and founder of SS Foundation, a non governmental organisation.

The Pageant which took place at the Jogor Center Ibadan, was organised by Gotham City Network led by Mayor Isaac Brown.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship candidate in the 2019 elections in Oyo State,  Chief Adebayo Adelabu donated cash gifts to the runners-up: N250,000 for 2nd Position, N150,000 for 3rd Position while the 4th Position got N100,000.

He also gave scholarships to the top four contestants.
