Vigilante operatives in Issele Uku Community, Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State at the weekend arrested seven kidnap suspects allegedly terriorizing the area in the recent times.
Confirming the arrest of the suspects to Journalists in the area, the Chairman, Issele Uku Community Vigilante group, Mr. Nduka’ Obunwa, said that the arrested suspects clearly said they were Fulani herdsmen allegedly behind the recent kidnap cases and destruction of crops in farms in the area.
He disclosed that the group was responding to a distress call from members of the community to effect the arrest.

He also said the culprits had been handed over to the police at the Issele Uku Police Division for further investigation.
The Police Commissioner in the state, Hafiz Muhammed Inuwah, who confirmed this incident to our Correspondent in Asaba, said investigation was ongoing.
