643 New Cases Of COVID19 Confirmed In Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday confirmed 643 more cases of COVID-19 in the country.

The body said the cases were reported from 19 states with Lagos posting the highest number of infections with 230 cases.

According to the NCDC, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria now stands at 34,249 while 13,999 patients have been discharged upon receiving treatment.

The health body put the total number of fatalities related to the virus at 760.

The details of the new infections as disclosed by the NCDC are as follows: Lagos-230, Oyo-69, FCT-51, Edo-43, Osun-35, Rivers-30, Ebonyi-30, Kaduna-28, Ogun-27, Ondo-23, Plateau-20, Benue-17, Enugu-16, Imo-10, Delta-6, Kano-4
Nasarawa-2, Kebbi-1, Ekiti-1.
