Former Governor of Gombe State and presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ibrahim Dakwambo is in a closed doors meeting with former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
The meeting is being held at Obasanjo’s Abeokuta residence, and is believed to be in connection with the presidential ambition of Dakwambo.

Dakwambo’s visit to Obasanjo is coming barely some hours after that of Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
Saraki is also said to be nursing a presidential ambition.
Obasanjo, like Ibrahim Babangida, has been hosting presidential aspirants.
The aspirants are taking their turn to get the blessing of the former Nigerian presidents.
On Monday, in continuation of his consultations over his presidential ambition, former Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa, visited former Military President, Ibrahim Babangida, in Minna, Niger State.
Bafarawa is a presidential aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Bafarawa and the former Military President met behind closed doors.
