The autopsy report on Nigerian singer, Zainab Nielsen, popularly known as Alizee has revealed the alleged involvement of her husband, Peter Nielsen, in her death.
Nielsen has been detained in prison over the death of his wife, Alizee and their daughter, Petra.
He was alleged to have murdered the two people on April 5, 2018, at their residence in Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos.
Speaking on the outcome of the autopsy on Monday in Lagos, the Lagos State Police Commissioner, Edgal Imohimi, said Alizee died as a result of the impact on her head.
It would be recalled that the husband was reported to have hit her head against the wall several times before she gave up the ghost.
Imohimi added that the report showed that there were blood stains from the bedroom they shared to the kitchen.
He stated further: “Even though it was cleverly wiped from the floor, experts were still able to detect it with the application of special chemical reagents.
“Blood stains were also discovered on the wash-hand basins and on the hand towel the suspect used in wiping his hands after the commission of the offence.
“Although it was cleverly cleaned up as well, the experts were able to discover that too.”
Nielsen is currently detained at Ikoyi Prison in Lagos on the order of a Magistrate court.
The Magistrate court is headed by K. B. Ayeye.
He will be there until May 8, 2018 pending the advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecution, DPP.
