The 2018 Appropriation Bill will be passed by the National Assembly on April 24, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has said.
Dogara made the announcement at the plenary of the House on Wednesday.
According to him, the two chambers of the National Assembly had agreed on the date to pass the bill.

He said while the bill would be presented on April 19, it would be passed on April 24.
It would be recalled that the leadership of the National Assembly met the Presidency last week and one of the major issues discussed was the need to stop all obstacles on the way of passing the budget.
Following the meeting, the Presidency gave a directive to agencies, corporation and other government-owned-companies to submit the details of their budgets to the National Assembly.
The refusal to submit the details of the budgets of the different agencies was identified as the major cause of the delay in the passage of the budget.
