Breaking: 82 Chibok girls freed by Boko Haram

The Federal Government of Nigeria has secured the release of 82 Chibok school girls who were kidnapped in 2014 by Boko Haram terrorists.

The latest release has brought the number of girls freed so far to 103. In addition to those who escaped from the terrorist group, 21 of them were released in 2016 after negotiation between the Federal Government and the representatives
of Boko Haram.

The girls are said to be in Banki town in Borno state waiting to be airlifted to an unknown destination, according to sources close to the authorities.
