President Muhammadu Buhari, was again absent at the beginning of the weekly Federal Executive Council (EFC) meeting on Wednesday.
The meeting said to have kicked off at about 11am was presided over by the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and attended by a cross section of ministers and presidential aides.
NEXT EDITION learnt the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Udoma Udoudoma and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Muhammed Bello, offered Christian and Moslem prayers, respectively before the commencement of the meeting.
After weeks of being absent from the public space, the president on Tuesday was said to have met the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, and the Group Managing Director of the (NNPC) Maikanti Baru.
Besides today, the president has been absent during two previous FEC meetings, a situation which led to many calling for his resignation and or the swearing in of Mr. Osinbajo as president.
